PRO EM provided flooring, tenting, carpeting, ramping, stairs, picket fencing, dance floor and stage. The custom floor was built level (with some points reaching 12′ from the ground), in just over a week, and a 20m x 55m Losberger structure was installed over the top of the floor. The entire project took about 13 days to complete.

New showroom to make life easier for Scottsdale wedding and event planners

(NORTH SCOTTSDALE) August 17, 2010: Event planners and wedding professionals in the Northeast Valley have a new set of best friends. A private grand opening party last week at the new PRO EM Design Center brought out some of the biggest names in event planning, wedding services, catering and destination management. Needless to say, industry pros are happy to have a new venue dedicated to the special events business right in their neighborhood.

“The PRO EM Design Center offers a comfortable place where planning professionals and their clients can visualize their event ideas – from the color of the linens to the china and glassware to the overall scope of the event,” said Brad Kramer, president and CEO of PRO EM. “Our new north Scottsdale showroom showcases our ability to provide a personalized experience to each of our clients, at the level of service they expect.”

Located near Kierland Commons and the Scottsdale corridor (15551 N. Greenway-Hayden Loop, Suite 110), the PRO EM Design Center features tabletop displays of a wide selection of china, flatware, glassware and chairs and an exclusive line of high-end specialty linens and chair covers from Wildflower Linen. Planners can use the Center’s client consultation areas for production, site design and new client meetings or to browse online photo galleries for inspiration, review artistic renderings and access the Internet to view additional products.

“We’ve used PRO EM for events for a number of years, but having this design center in North Scottsdale adds a new level of convenience for us,” said Stacia Brocco, director of sales at Monterra at Westworld. “It’s closer to our venue and many of our favorite clients, and it has an amazing selection for everyone from the do-it-yourselfer to the industry professional. I cannot wait to bring clients over!”

Event planner Amy Mancuso was pleased to see PRO EM reaching out to the wedding industry with the opening of the new Design Center. “Everything I need is now in one place and I can find what each client needs for their particular event right in one location,” said Mancuso, owner of Amy Mancuso Events. “There’s nothing else like this in Arizona!”

The PRO EM Design Center is open to the public Monday and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. For more information, call 623-206-6177.

Tip #4 on Valet...
Make sure the company's pricing fits your budget. Valet costs typically include operating costs and set number of staff for a pre-determined time period. Costs fluctuate based on the number of expected guests and the length of the event. Call PRO EM today to arrange a site visit so we can help you select sufficient attendants based on the size of your party, so that guests do not have to stand around waiting and you have one less detail to worry about.

Valet Service adds a positive, welcoming experience to your event

If you are hosting a party or event, valet parking service is a great way to offer a convenient, upscale experience for your guests. Valet companies park cars for you upon arrival and return vehicles to the front door as your guests leave. PRO EM provides a full-service valet for any size event or function. Here are a few hints for finding the right valet service for your next event:

Tip #1
Make sure the valet company can accommodate all your guests. The three most common factors in determining how many valets you will need are:

Expected number of guests and vehicles

Timing and flow of your event

Proximity of available parking area

Tip #2
Make sure the valet company has insurance. Should an accident occur, make sure the valet company’s coverage removes you from all responsibility. Ask to see a copy of the policy before signing a contract.

Tip # 3
Make sure the attendants provide a lasting, positive experience for your guests. A special occasion requires the valet company attendants to look professional and handle the vehicles and your guests with care and efficiency. PRO EM excels at providing professional, courteous and friendly valets who are experienced and required to maintain a clean driving record.

Tip #4
Make sure the company’s pricing fits your budget. Valet costs typically include operating costs and set number of staff for a pre-determined time period. Costs fluctuate based on the number of expected guests and the length of the event. Call PRO EM today for an estimate on valet service for your next event.

A “Tip” on Tips…
Valet is a service industry and gratuity is always appreciated. We can provide a custom parking package that fits your budget and includes all valet services plus custom signage that indicates “Gratuity is included,” or “Gratuity is appreciated.”

Call PRO EM today to arrange a site visit so we can help you select sufficient attendants based on the size of your party, so that guests do not have to stand around waiting and you have one less detail to worry about.

Point of Rental (POR) and PRO EM both recently had something to celebrate–the launch of POR at PRO EM and PRO EM is the 1,200th POR customer. This calls for cake!!

Point of Rental was created by rental industry professionals to provide a reliable, flexible and accurate alternative to the previous industry norm of DOS-based and error-plagued systems. POR provided company wide training and support and provided integration guidance from the old system to the new system.

Wedding trendwatchers are predicting a seismic shift for future weddings – from bright colors to a return to classic themes – all thanks to the Clinton-Mezvinsky nuptials this past weekend. Hard to imagine one wedding tipping the entire planning industry, but now it’s everywhere, and trends always have to start somewhere.

At PRO EM, we love a good love story, but every wedding is as unique as its bride and groom. You can have the experience you want for your day, down to the last detail.
