What could be better than walking around downtown Carefree, soaking in the fabulous March weather, sipping a glass of cabernet or chardonnay? Doing all those things while appreciating the fine work of local artists, of course.
Thunderbird Artists are organizing the Carefree Fine Art and Wine Festival this weekend in Carefree, at the corner of Ho Hum and Easy Streets. Stroll the streets of Carefree and browse the 5,000 pieces of mixed media art by 160 nationally-acclaimed artists.
The festival artists will be displaying their wares for sale, as well as providing live demonstrations of creating their masterpieces.
The Thunderbird Artist Carefree festival holds the title of Arizona’s largest wine-tasting event, featuring first-class wines from Arizona, California, Australia, Germany, Austria, France and Italy. There will be live music, gourmet food and plenty eather.
