Phoenix Convoy of Hope

The Phoenix Convoy of Hope outreach is a collaboration of local churches, businesses, community services, medical providers that deliver a day of hope for the people who need it most.  The 2010 Phoenix Convoy of Hope was held last Saturday, February 27 at Grand Canyon University, and was attended by individuals in need of food, haircuts, job placement assistance and medical services.

Hundreds of families visited the Kid Zone, participated in the many activities and enjoyed lunch on the grassy grounds of GCU.  Convoy of Hope is a partnership organization that distributes food, services and yes, hope to the needy around the world.

There’s still time to keep that resolution you made recently–the one about giving back.  Convoy of Hope is always looking for volunteers:  http://phoenixconvoyofhope.com/.
