Brides and Basketball

How do you get a guy to a bridal show? Put the bridal show and an NBA game together!! So says the marketing geniuses of Brides and Basketball, an organization that pairs brides with vendors and grooms with basketball.

On February 21, the Phoenix Suns face the Sacramento Kings at US Airways Center. The arena will open its doors early for brides and grooms to get some quality face time with wedding vendors such as florists, wedding planners, caterers, DJs and more. The price of admission includes the bridal show plus the game.

PRO EM Manages Street Closure for Holy Event

More than 5,000 Catholics gathered in downtown Phoenix December 6, 2009 for the annual Honor the Blessed Mother. PRO EM worked in tandem with Phoenix Police to manage the closure of several downtown streets and control the crowd’s half-mile procession. PRO EM also provided staging, generators, portajohns and thousands of chairs.

Another beautiful wedding by PRO EM…

Wedding at Four Seasons - Tent with liner, wedding aisle walkway, chivari chairs

Hours prior to  the beautfully planned outdoor ceremony at the Four Seasons the sky turned dark and the forecast called for a heavy rain.  PRO EM was called in to deliver and set up a large tent, draping liner, a white carpeted aisle walkway.  Natural wood chivari chairs added to the simple and elegant theme.  The ceremony started on time and day turned out perfectly with a gorgeous sunset framing the mountain view.

PRO EM Party Concepts team member Susan developed the design of the plates, glassware, flatware, linen and glass on top. The show was Sensational Settings which we sponsor every year and benefits St. Luke’s Home for the Elderly (a very good cause in Tucson).  Tim Pouliout thought of cutting the limes.  The final lime count was 290 and it took 2 hours (and 6 Coronas) to slice them. The draw of the table was the fact that it combined the sense of touch (yes, they all touched it as they thought the limes were fake), Visual ecstasy (Yes, it was beautiful!!!) and the intense smell of the limes. This display went up against the elite table designers in Tucson and we hands down blew them away with the design and concept.
